As an aside, when did it become standard form in masters races to take positions by screeching “on your left” or “passing” to the other guy you’re battling for 85th place. Seems we maybe should leave that for leaders/lapping riders. Guys battling for meaningless positions should do it the “old-school” way by putting their handlebars where the other rider can see them, no?
Did anyone pick up a blue gore jacket and black icebreaker wool full zip hoodie? I left them next to a tree right by the starting corals with a few other jackets. The gore jacket probably had a Jimmy Johns sandwich in the back pocket (sorry). Thanks!

Had a ton of fun yesterday, thanks to all the organizers and people that stayed to cheer / heckle at the 4/5’s. Great first season for me, can’t wait for next year!
Just Realized I left my super-sized Costco Cooler (was in the Pony Shop Social Tent – the white one) If anyone knows of its whereabouts? … I’m as interested in a bottle of Chimay that could possibly have remained unconsumed in the cooler …. what am I thinking … of course it was consumed.
That’s at least 4 jackets left at the start corral from my count (myself included). I’m hoping someone picked up everything left behind! This was just my second race, but I’m assuming there must be a lost and found collection after every race?
All lost and found items are in a medium size plastic bin in the CCC equipment trailer which will be at the MidWest Regional Cyclocross Championships this Sunday at Dan Ryan Woods. After that the bin will travel to Afterglow. Any items not picked up there will be at the CCC Awards Party at for the Lost and Found Grab. All remaining items will be donated shortly thereafter to Goodwill.

All items recovered as “lost and found” on Saturday and Sunday were added to the CCC’s lost and found box. (It’s quite a collection!)
